Domoznanske publikacije o Primorski. Gradivo za bibliografijo (do leta 2004) (Publications about PRIMORSKA region; material for the bibliography, until the year 2004) is not a real bibliography, but an index of as a rule slovene editions of area studies about localities and areas of the Primorska region (the index included the province of Gorizia, Trieste and Udine), which can be used first of all as a handbook. Because of the large number of area studies published nawadays this kind of index seems almost inevitably necessary. The index consists of two parts. The first part comprehends the material on single localities, while the second part the material on different areas. The localities are arranged in alphabetical order. The publications are then arranged in cronological order.
