On Wednesday, 6 August 2025, at 19.00, Maks Bookstore and Café will host the presentation of the artwork of the month and the August chapter of the Episkop project.
Klavdija Figelj will talk to photographer Vanja Bućan, a native of Nova Gorica now living and working in Berlin. In 2023, she clothed the Ringturm skyscraper in Vienna in a giant installation called The Wandering Icebergs, drawing attention to climate change. In addition to climate change, they will talk about European Capitals of Culture, discomfort in culture and the potential for change in nature.
We will also present the content and programme of the eighth chapter of Episkop.
Participants: Vanja Bućan (photographer) and Klavdija Figelj (art historian).
The event will be held in Slovenian and Italian with simultaneous interpretation.
The event is part of the official GO! 2025 programme.
