A Conurbation in the Embrace of Nature

The roundtable will be moderated by a geographer and will include a diverse range of guests, from a cultural anthropologist, a botanist, a landscape architect to a forester. They will discuss the green spaces that stretch into the heart of Nova Gorica and Gorizia, and also look at how they are changing on the outskirts of the city and on the surrounding hills. They will also take a step back in history and look at the state of things today. They will contemplate on the meanings of green spaces and, last but not least, whether these are spaces where people feel happy.
